Church Announcements

The EBC Free Spirit Dance Team will celebrate their first anniversary on November 23^rd at 4:00 p.m. Please come and enjoy an afternoon of praising and worshiping of our Lord.

On November 22^nd there will be a women's bible study of Proverbs. Please study the whole book of Proverbs and write down two points for the bible study. After the bible study, the women will deliver care packages. We need these items by November 20^th: socks, kleenex, candy, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and lotion (travel sizes).
Attention Parent's of all Youth.
Please turn in your child's honors/awards from the first Nine Weeks of School to Iris Suber or Tananra Blanding by Sunday November 23, 2008.

The Thanksgiving Community Service will be on November 26^th at Salem Missionary Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. A choir from Evergreen will be singing.
Our Next Union Meeting will be held at Mountain Springs Baptist Church on Saturday November 29, 2008 at 9:45 AM.

On December 19^th at 7:00 p.m. there will be a ladies night out in the church fellowship hall. Please come out and leave your cares at home. There will be a Christian Comedian, so be ready to relax and laugh and have a good fellowship with your sisters. There will be a $2.00 charge.

The men’s ministry is working to put together a male choir. We are asking all men who want to be a part of this choir to please sign up on the signup sheet in the foyer out front.

Boys ages 10 to 17 that would like to play in the brotherhood basket ball league need to see Minister Willie Johnson as soon as possible. The league starts in February.

CD’s of Sunday Service will be available for $5.00 shortly after service and you can order DVD’s that will be available the following Sunday for $10.00.

Children's Church is held every 1^stand 3^rd Sunday. Classes range from ages 3-6, 7-11 and 12-15 years old. We are in desperate need of snacks for Children's Church. If you are able to donate please bring individually wrapped snacks immediately.

We are looking for volunteers for the prison ministry; if you are interested please see Minister Mac Williams or Minister Jeff Evans.

Please read messages posted at our information center, located in the lobby of the church, for additional announcements.

Pastoral Care Team will meet ever 2^nd Monday of the month at 6 PM. New members are welcome.

Parents and youth counselors please be reminded to make sure children are not running in the parking lot before and after service and during weekday meetings. This is a safety hazard and your help will be appreciated

Please remember to pray for our members and friends that are serving in the military and also for our sick members.
